Our People
Tessa Hinds
- Tessa Berlin Marathon 2011
Tessa has over 15 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and back pain. She has worked all over the world from India to Great Britain. She has worked with many sports teams including Chelsea Football Club, English National Rugby League, The English National Ballet School and The Australian Women’s Squash Team.
In 2004 she completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and subsequently published her research into massage in the American College of Sports Medicine’s official journal. She has maintained her interest in massage and myofascial release and has over the past few years started to incorporate this into the more holistic practice of visceral manipulation into her clinical practice. She has completed VM1 to VM4 which are run through the U.S based Barral Institute.
Tessa has in the past been a state level squash player and has run several marathons. This has meant that she has a special interest in biomechanics, training advice and injury prevention.
When she is not helping patients improve their well being, Tessa loves spending time with her husband and three little girls. When she can, she relishes her time out running on the beach tracks.
